World’s Fastest Front-Wheel Drive Car* – Honda Civic Type R

HondaRedFast3Honda left its boring days behind and has been making some wonderful vehicles recently.  Everything from family haulers, to cargo haulers, to rear-end haulers has been added to the company’s lineup and AutoAcademics has been fortunate enough to test quite a few of them.  As we begin the new year, we have one more fantastic gift to share with you — the 2017 Honda Civic Type R.  But as the world’s fastest front-wheel drive production car, is it too extreme for every day use?  M.S.R.P. – $34,775.

*record lap time of 7 minutes 43.80 seconds at Nurburgring Nordschleife for a front-wheel drive production car, April 7, 2017
